Do you know the new wonders of the world?

Well we all know it is time to update the wonder of the world as the former wonders only the pyramid of Egypt is left stand. In the effort to the consensus of the world, the biggest online voting was held to voter for the new seven wonders of the world. Seven “new” wonders of the world — selected by nearly 100 million voters online and over the telephone.

The winners are ... CHICHEN ITZA (MEXICO), COLISEUM (ITALY),STATUE OF CHRIST THE REDEEMER (BRAZIL), PETRA (JORDAN), MACHU PICCHU (PERU), GREAT WALL (CHINA), TAJ MAHAL (INDIA)

Now what happened is that the Pyramid of Egypt was surprising left out of the list, as it is after all the only wonder that is left standing from the ancient list. However is this just like American idol, it is a popular contest. With population of billions how can you expect the Taj Mahal and the Great Wall to be left out.



My only disappointment is that Angkor Wat is not on the list, do you know that Angkor is almost the size of New York? This is ancient time is unbelievable. Too bad not all thought this is a magnificent feat to rival Chichen Itza, Coliseum, Statue of Christ the redeemer, Petra , MACHU Picchu, Great Wall , Taj Mahal.
